Let me start by saying this has the potential to be the perfect shirt: athletic fit, moisture wicking, good thickness, etc. But like any relationship, what good is perfection while being unfaithful?
Unfortunately the henley betrayed its best qualities after roughly 5 handwashes. The shirt developed two significant holes in pretty obvious areas. I tried to ignore them and forge on, only for the shirt to develop even more holes. What used to feel like a sturdy piece of material now feels like toilet paper.
Trust me, I wanted to love this shirt. Even with the holes that developed, I'm seriously contemplating buying another, but I can't justify the high cost and risk having to replace it again. Hopefully Woolly commits to making a merino blend henley to give it some sturdiness and longevity. Until then, I'll keep browsing for a merino henley on par with this one, but one that will last.
